Natural Inclination May 18- July 20, 2012 | Call for Artists Monkitree is seeking artwork for an upcoming show entitled, “Natural Inclination.” Work for this show should be informed by your appreciation of the natural world, compassion for others, and your desire to connect with them to create solutions. This show is a commemoration of two significant, personal milestones - it has been twenty-five years since I began working on environmental issues and two years since we opened Monkitree. A portion of proceeds from this show will benefit both the Natural Resources Council of Maine and Clean Water Action. The show will run from May 18th through July 20th, 2012. The opening reception will be held from 5-9pm on May 18th. All work must be for sale. Artists of all media and background are encouraged. Wall art must be ready to be hung (framed or wired). To submit work, up to four pieces, email photos of the work to clare@monkitree.com by March 30th, 2012. Please include the title, dimensions and price of each piece.
